Gachapon, shops and trading

Gachapon

There is a machine in 12 towns: Henesys, Ellinia, Perion, Kerning City, Sleepywood, Mushroom Shrine, Showa (the men's and women's spas), Ludibrium, New Leaf City, El Nath, Nautilus Harbor and Singapore. Each town has its own prizes (Perion has warrior gear, Ellinia has mage gear and scrolls, and so on), plus a list every machine shares.

• One ticket gives one prize: common 70%, uncommon 24.5%, rare 5%, jackpot 0.5%. Jackpots include Chaos Scroll 60%, White Scroll and chairs. Rare and jackpot wins are announced to the server.
• @gacha <town> lists every prize of a machine.
• A Remote Gachapon Ticket plays any machine from anywhere, except Singapore's.
• If the prize doesn't fit in your inventory, you keep your ticket and the prize waits at that machine.
• Tickets: from Hanako (below) for 3,000,000 mesos, or from the Cash Shop.

Bot shops

Up to 8 regulars at a time keep a hired merchant in FM rooms 1-12 on channels 1-3 (about 4 on channel 1 and 2 each on channels 2 and 3), each for about 6 hours. They sell their own loot and things they bought from players. They never sell godly gear, Chaos or White Scrolls, boss-only drops or cash items.

Trading and haggling

• To buy, ask in chat, for example "how much for the work gloves". They name a price and put the item in the trade window.
• To sell, invite them to trade and put your item in. They make an offer and only go up.
• Haggle in chat or in the trade window. Friends get a better deal. Rivals won't trade with you.
• Regulars also buy from players' shops at fair prices, mostly better-than-average gear.
• GM characters can't trade with them.

@price <item>

What an item really sold for over the last 7 days: the middle price, the range and the number of sales. Sales between your own characters, or between friends on one connection, don't count.

Shop tax

Free Market shops (personal stores and hired merchants) pay at least 3% of each sale. Bigger sales pay the old, higher v83 rate (see Making mesos).

Partner rings

The Cash Shop's Ring category sells 7 couple rings and 6 friendship rings at their v83 prices (3,600 to 6,000 NX for the pair). Press Buy, type your partner's name (another player online in the world), and you both get the ring. Equip it and change channel once to see the effect. Any two characters can share one.

Engagement ring boxes come from Moony in Amoria, for any two characters. Weddings are in Amoria.
