Advancing

All advancements are done by the Job Master in Base of Roots. There are no job quests.

1st job	10 (Magician 8)	Same for Cygnus Knights (from Noblesse) and Aran (from Legend). You get weapons and ammo for the class.
2nd job	30
3rd job	70	Hermit and 3rd-job Night Walker: Shadow Partner.
4th job	120	Every class, Cygnus Knights included.
5th tier	4th job, 3 rebirths	Uses up one World's Engine. Four new skills at level 1.

What MapleRoot changed

New attacks: custom 4th-job skills for every explorer 4th job (the Bishop gets the passive Buff Master), for example Rising Rage (Hero) and La Mancha Spear (Dark Knight).
Removed: all boosters, Steal, Big Bang, Heaven's Hammer, Slow, Taunt, Ninja Ambush, Assassinate, Barrage, Snatch, Demolition, Transformation and a few others; the warriors' axe, blunt and pole-arm lines. Warriors are sword or spear only.
Same skill slot, new skill: Brandish → Raging Blow, Seal/Doom → Fire Rush, and others.

The 4th-job skill package

The 4th job skills NPC in Base of Roots teaches every 4th-job skill that normally needs a quest or a skill book, for 10,000,000 mesos (100,000,000 for a Beginner).

The 5th tier

Reach your 4th job and rebirth three times.
Get a World's Engine: the quest "Magnus the Tyrant!" (level 200, after the quest before it) — defeat Magnus, then turn it in to Wyatt the Reborn.
Talk to the Job Master. The World's Engine is used up and you learn your tier's four skills.
